STATUTE
OF ANSAR BURNEY TRUST

The Ansar Burney Trust is a network of civil and human rights organisations working to fight against all forms of injustices, for the better treatment of human beings and to ensure that no crime against any person is ever to go unpunished.

We are to raise our voice against any form of oppression and strive for justice for all regardless of age, sex, religion or race. Our work is for the aid, release, rehabilitation and welfare of illegally and unlawfully prisoned persons, mental patients and drug addicts; and also for the welfare and rehabilitation of the families of such victims. We are to fight against any form of oppression and provide free legal advice and services to all those who need it. We are to visit detention centers, prisons and mental hospitals to ensure that inmates and patients are treated well and their rights are never violated.

The Trust will always have a team of women lawyers to help protect women civil and human rights. Any violence or abuse of women rights is never to be tolerated. Regardless of conditions, women are never to be allowed to be abused or repressed. Full legal advice, services and expenses are to be borne by the Trust; along with any costs of rehabilitation and setting into a new life.

The Trust is to work in locating abducted, trafficked and lost children and finding their homes. If homes are not found, or any conditions exist due to which the child cannot be returned to their families, that child is to be brought up by the trust; bearing any living, education and medical expenses. Domestic violence and forced labor on children is never to be tolerated and they are to be freed from any such activities and taken under the protection of the Trust.

We are to fight against any form of human trafficking, working to ensure that all such networks are closed permanently. We are to provide full legal services to all victims of such crimes, ensuring they get justice; and to help in their rehabilitation process.

The Trust is to provide all forms of humanitarian aid in time of disaster no matter where in the world it occurs. This includes financial and material help.
