HYDERABAD: The Ansar Burney Welfare Trust has offered its financial support and legal assistance to the mother who had placed her children on sale in a market here last Monday.
Sarim Burney, an official of the trust, arrived at the Hyderabad Press Club to announce his trustís offer after media reports about a mother placing her children on sale. Burney offered the woman, Ayesha Malik, financial assistance as well as legal aid for her detained husband. Burney told journalists that he was taking the woman and her children to Karachi to pursue her case.
Ayesha told media persons that she was not able to meet her family expenses with her husband behind the bars. She said her parents had forcefully married her with a man when she was just 16. But, later, she married another man of her own free will, which annoyed her brothers and other relatives, who booked her husband in fake cases.
