HYDERABAD: The father of the ‘children for sale’, Zahid Malik, was released on bail from the Sukkur jail on Saturday after a detention of 15 months.

His wife Aisha had tried to sell their children a few days ago in a market here.

Aisha arrived at the Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday night with her husband and their two children.

Talking to newsmen at the press club, Aisha said they were feeling insecure in the country and demanded of the government to provide security to them or they should be sent abroad.

On the occasion, Sarim Burney of the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust said his organisation had provided the couple a house in Karachi for a period of one year.

He said two Ministers Rauf Siddiqui and Sassui Palejo had offered jobs to the couple.

He called for providing protection to the couple, saying their life was still in danger.
