LONDON, June 3, (APP)- Former minister on human rights in the caretaker Government Ansar Burney has strongly condemned the bombing in the Denmark Embassy in Islamabad and called on authorities to provide better protection to the members of the diplomatic corp.
In a statement, Burney who was deported from India last week due to some misunderstanding involving immigration staff at the New Delhi airport, said those involved in this crime are the enemies of the humanity and must be dealt with iron hand.
He said such acts were bringing bad name to the country and hurting its image as well. The human right activist called for evolving a foolproof security system that offers better protection to Pakistani citizens and the foreign nationals as well.
