LAHROE - Fifty Indian prisoners will be released from Central Jail Karachi on Sunday (today) and they will return to their home country through Wahgah border on Monday (tomorrow), said Syed Sarim Burney, Vice Chairman of the Ansar Burney Trust International.
These 50 Indian prisoners will be released from Karachi and all the expenses of their return to India will be borne by Ansar Burney Trust. Syed Sarim and Syed Fahad Burney will travel to Wagah border where the officials of the Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior and Indian High Commission will be present to hand these nationals to India.
Meanwhile, Indian authorities on the request of Pakistani Foreign Office has already released 43 Pakistani prisoners and allowed them to return to Pakistan. These 43 include 33 civilians and 10 fishermen.
