KARACHI: Two hundred and forty nice Pakistani prisoners arrested in Oman (Muscat) few months back for illegal entry and employment, returned back to home on Wednesday. They arrived here at Ghasbandar, Keemari after leaving the Oman capital of Muscat four days ago.
At the arrival this morning the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International arranged food, drinking water, clothes and other necessaries of life. Touching scenes were witnessed at Keamari as the returnees came out from the Cargo Boat Al-Fannan, where they were received by the vice chairman of the Trust, Syed Fahad Burney and In-charge Syed Sarim Burney.
The released 249 Pakistanis revealed horrifying facts, they had faced during their journey to Oman and later in Muscat Jails. Many of the rescued people have bullet marks on their back and feet.
Many of them showed bullet marks on their bodies and said that the way they were treated in Muscat was serious violation of human rights and disrespect of humanity. - PPI
