Burney requested to visit Indian jails for early release of Pakistani prisoners

Islamabad: The Chairman of the Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs in Senate and Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League Syed Mushahid Hussain Monday contacted Pakistan's renowned human rights lawyer, Ansar Burney and sought his help in getting the early release of Pakistani prisoners from Indian Jails.

Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, telephoned to the Chairman of the Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International, Ansar Burney, Advocate and discusses with him the problems of Pakistani prisoners languishing in Indian Jails for decades and most of them have lost their physical and mental health.

Mushahid suggested Burney to visit Indian Jails soon to meet innocent Pakistani prisoners who are confined there for decades and have lost their health and mental balance very badly.
