Dubai: The Ansar Burney Trust yesterday expressed its gratitude to the UAE's leaders for their directives to trace any remaining child camel jockeys in the country.
Ansar Burney, the trust's chairman, said in a statement that strict rules have already been put in place to curb the use of underage and underweight jockeys.
Burney said a 10-member trust team has started searching for any remaining child jockeys. He said 1,075 underage children have already been repatriated.
